  1. These are cool practical tips. Thank you. I wouldn't recommend the saffron though. Not that it's not useful (it probably is) but it's kinda expensive. I'd rather put it on pasta.

  2. saffron is good for eating also. So, eat healthy and live healthy!

  4. Yes, you can do that, but, do not store the mixture for too long.Better to add milk in other ingredients whenever you want to use the mixture. These all recipes are natural. Don't worry at all. These all treatments are slow but effective. So, use them for several weeks. Use the recipes given above and tell me the result after 11/2 months.

  6. Hello again,

You can freely use these remedies as, these remedies are not chemical based.Don't worry. Do not use it on white scars because white scars are caused by hypopigmentation and these remedies are effective in the treatment of hyperpigmentation related problems like dark spots or dark spots from burns and injuries. Please tell me in detail about your problem, for better info.

    Thanks again.

  7. For white scars use these remedies. These remedies are beneficial in both cases.

Aloe vera gel.- Apply it gel on white scars twice a day.

Sandalwood - Make a paste by mixing sandalwood powder with water. Apply it on affected area. Better use it before going to bed at night and leave it on for overnight.

Honey - Massage it on white scars and leave it on for at least half an hour.

  8. well thanks.. i dont know whats sandalwool so i guess i use honey :)

the spots on my back is due to scratching.. as i had allergy.. to much scratching(itchiness)caused my skin to get darker.. not my whole back.. but the parts i used to itch.. and some of them due to scars..

on my leg.. i guess its since i was young.. resulting wounds..
now that is weird.. as i have a big scar.. dark one.. i didnt have it before.. but believe it or not.. i guess it was a dry area and didnt moisturize it to it stayed dark.. this one is hard to explain..

  9. hi..i had an old dark scar on my hand(on the area where i bend my hand elbow but in the skin not the bony surface) so i started using a scar cream for about 4 days but every time i used it t used to etch me so much but never scratched till last night i couldn't bare it anymore so i scratched so much that i kinda removed like the first layer of my skin coz its burning me now and when i woke up today its a bigger dark circle now :S because its burning me ive put burn cream on it but im sure by tonight it will be dark coz that's how i got the previous dark spot on the same area so plz tell me wat to do..
    thanx dena..

  10. First of all avoid scratching.
Secondly, lack of moisture and washing the skin frequently results in dull, dry and black skin. Try to keep your skin moisturize by using a good quality moisturizer.

  11. Hello dena,
Avoid using any type of cream.I think your skin type is sensitive or too dry so, wait for some days before using any natural treatment.

"because its burning me ive put burn cream on it but im sure by tonight it will be dark coz that's how i got the previous dark spot"
Its because of skin allergy. Do not use any type OTC Treatment or cream.

    ReplyDelete
  12. hi thanx.. but wats OTC? right now its kinda reddish or dark red so wat do with it? or wat to apply if not creams (after few days) my skin is not dry but yes its sensitive..

    ReplyDelete
  13. OTC - Over the counter - These are medicines you can buy without a prescription from your doctor.

Wait for some days to avoid irritation because of your sensitive skin type. After that you can use remedies to lighten them.

  21. Hello,

Don't worry about your dark spots these types of spots(due to allergy) are very normal. May take upto 2-3 months to heal. You can use an aloe vera gel for quick recovery. Another remedy is to use a mixture of lemon juice, cucumber juice, rose water and glycerin. But, aloe vera gel( directly from plant) is an effective remedy for dark spots.

I would like to know does applying vitamin e solution, from capsule, on dark spots work to lighten spots?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hello,

Apply it twice daily. Yes, you can use vitamin E liquid to fade the spots. You can also take Vitamin E (200 mg) capsule twice daily to speed up the fading process. But, avoid taking vit.e on an empty stomach. Better ask your doctor before taking it.

  24. Hi,

I had 2nd degree burns on my arms due to laser treatment. Anyway, I have been using lavender, geranium & ylang ylang oil mixed with my moisturiser. The burns have healed quite nicely, there isn't any bumps at all. I am left with quite a bit of scarring though. I am currently using pure cocoa butter on the scars twice a day & have been applying nutmeg, turmeric & honey once a day. How long would it take to get rid of the scars & which is the best method to use? Thank you!

Thank you for your response. I am currently using cocoa butter. Should I be mixing it with the aloe vera gel & vitamin e liquid or should I be using the 3 seperately? Should I continue with the nutmeg mixture as well? Finially, should I exfoliate with a store bought exfoliater or is papaya better?

    Thanks!

  29. Hello,

Please, tell me your skin type so that i can give you an accurate advice. Dark spot from pimples is not a big problem. It will take some time. Use a thin layer of an aloe vera gel over the affected area for a few days.

  31. another thing ,do the spots remove if I take any facial or fairpolish?then what type of facial I have to take to remove the spots?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hello,

There are many medical options to get rid of these types of spots quickly like IPL,microdermabrasion, chemical peel and so on. According to me, these types of treatments are not safe. Try to adopt some slow but effective types of remedies like Aloe vera gel and vitamin e liquid. You can also use homemade face mask like

    Sandalwood powder+ rose water
    Grated potatoe mask
Honey + turmeric mask (Read this ost to get more info. on honey and turmeric mask http://www.tipsforskincare.org/2010/06/honey-and-turmeric-face-mask.html)

Use aloe vera gel twice daily. It will lighten your dark spots and will also give you a radiant, glowing and fair skin.

There is nothing to worry about. Just give it some time to heal.

  33. Hi Suven,

Can one use lemon + glycerine solution to lighten the dark spots got from allergy? If yes how long will it take to completely fade the dark spots?

My skin is wheatish in colour and the spots show I can’t use aloe gel always because I go to school and the aloe gel has a specific smell also I am quite busy hence can’t always extract the aloe.

Can you please suggest other solutions for the allergy spots?

Another question arising in my mind is as posted an earlier reply does taking vitamin E capsule have any side effects for the present and the future?

    Thanking you inadvance.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hello,

Yes, you can use a combination of glycerin + lemon juice + rose water. It will take approx. 2 to 6 weeks. Apply aloe vera gel on your face 30 minutes before you go to your bed. Include vitamin E rich food sources in to your diet menu.

  42. I am an African American female that have dark spots as a result of picking pimples. Can you tell me how can I get rid of these dark unattractive scars so that I can stop trying to cover them up with make-up?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am an Africa American woman who has what I consider a serious chemical burn above top lip. It looks like a mustache. In 2001, I had an 8 hour surgery to remove a small cancerous tumor on my colon. I was told that the respiratory device around my mouth for such a long time plus the medication may have caused that reaction. My doctor prescribed a 4% hydroquinone cream, but that did not help. The area was black, but 10 years laster, it is just a dark brown. I have used all types of OTC creams, but NOTHING seems to help. I would prefer a homemade remedy if you can recommend one. Right now I have been using lemon juice and Vitamin E, but wonder if there is one better. My skin is oily and sometime sensitive around the mouth area. Please help if you can. I am tired of wearing heavy DermaBlend cream to cover this embarrassing scar. Thanks!

Kindly suggest some quick home remedies. I am getting married this November, and feel really embarassing wearing sleeveless and half sleeves clothes. Thanks
